Independence Physical Therapy began its journey on September 5, 2005, when it first opened its doors in downtown Ledyard, CT, with just one physical therapist and one administrative assistant. Two years later, in April of 2007, we found our permanent home in Mystic, CT, marking the beginning of a journey characterized by steady growth, unwavering dedication to exceptional patient care, and a deep commitment to our community.
Today, while we remain a physical therapist-owned practice, we have evolved into a team with 13 therapists and experience across various settings. With two locations in Mystic, CT, and Uncasville/Montville, CT, we are proud to be able to expand our services and better accommodate the needs of our patients.
